I am writing to you with information on a pop-up style uniform shop that we’re in the process of organising in hopes that you may pass on this information to the parents of your current students before the end of school term.

Last year we were inundated with requests from local parents for second-hand uniforms for all of the local schools, primary and secondary.

There was a lot of running around and gathering/collecting of items and in order to try to alleviate the pressures of last year for all local parents we have organised this appeal to benefit those who may be struggling in our community.

No child should go without.

We are asking for donations of all kinds of uniform items that may be finished with at the end of this school year.

This includes: Skirts, trousers, jumpers, tracksuits, school shoes, shirts, airtex, runners and school bags.

There will be a box left outside at the Project centre in Ballybrack midweek mornings for anyone who wishes to donate items, or if needed they can contact me directly on in order to arrange collection of the items.

All items will be washed, pressed and put onto hangers in which we will then host a shop at the project centre in August (date to be confirmed) where parents can come and take whatever they may need, free of charge, no questions asked.

Any left over uniform items from the event will be donated accordingly back to each relevant school for use as spares for students.

Please note that this is a completely cost free non-profit project.

Thank you in advance for helping us to help the parents and school-going children of the Ballybrack community.
